SRK with his Kids:- Aryan & Suhana

Aryan Khan: Nov 12th 1997, Suhana Khan: 22nd May 2000 ARYAN KHAN:-
We just named him Aryan. I don't know. I just liked the sound of the name. I thought when he tells a girl ki my name is Aryan. Aryan Khan, she'll be really impressed. His looks have come from both of us. Actually Gauri and I have similar features -- both of us have big eyes and thick lips. I don't know... He's got expressions like mine, I think... But he's a mixture. And no, I haven't changed any diapers! ( Laughs ) - Shah Rukh
Aryan has brought about a big change in our lives, especially in Shahrukh's lifestyle. Now, Shahrukh thinks twice if he has to go on an outdoor shoot. He wants to make most of his films in Mumbai. He has cut down on his work quite a bit. Double shifts are completely out. He is not signing too many films. And with the second baby due soon, the future for Shahrukh would be spending more time at home. He is crazy about children. - Gauri
"I’ve collected a lot of balls for him and he loves playing with them. Aryan also loves dancing to my songs. We have pillow fights and love jumping on the bed. We quite demented when we are together." - Shahrukh
Aryan looks exactly like me but he acts and behaves just like Shahrukh. He is very bright and naughty. Shahrukh makes it a point to pick him up from his play school at least once a week. - Gauri
"When you see father and son together, you can’t tell who’s younger. We play a lot together. We share Grasshopper together. We even share his little car. He rides it and so do i. Sometimes I push it, and at others he pushes it. Sometimes we play ‘fighting-fighting’ and we play with my Superman. He plays with it as much as I do." - Shahrukh
"He's a fabulous father", agreed Karan. "You can see from the reaction of his child what a great father he is. It's the world on one side and his father on the other. His father means the world to Aryan." - Karan Johar
"His son thinks that his father is a superman, But you can't blame the kid. The moment he switches on the TV he sees his father, when he travels to school, he sees banners of his father's films along the roads, and whenever his fathers alights people go hysterically, 'Shah Rukh, Shah Rukh!'” - Shashilal Nair
“Aryan wakes up by 7.30 or 8 in the morning. I spend a couple of hours with him and then rush to my shooting. If I’m at Mehboob Studio, close to home, I drive back for lunch. At night I get back by 9.30 or 10.00 and we play till 11.30. I play with him till he falls asleep and try to sleep with him.” - Shahrukh
He is completely obsessed with his father because for one, he sees less of him and secondly, Shahrukh is full of energy which I'm not. He can talk, dance and play with him endlessly. Aryan cannot sleep without him. Shahrukh has to spend two hours with him every night. - Gauri
He says, "I hope Aryaan will grow up to look like my father. He was such a handsome man." And will he be as good a parent to his son? "I'll be a better parent to my son than my parents were to me. They died too soon, they left me alone. But I'll always be there for my son."
With a heap of ha-ha humour, he adds, "My baby will be a pucca flirt. I think he even winked at the nurses at the Breach Candy hospital where he was born. I hope my child turns out to be a pucca badmaash. Just like Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone. But even if he turns out to be well-behaved, that's okay by me.
My son must be honest and respect elders. That's all that I expect of him. "Frankly, I really hated myself when I saw Gauri going through all that labour pain. In the past 13 years that I've known her, she's never fallen ill on me even once. And now because of me she had to go through labour pain.
"Though everyone says my son looks like me, I think he's an exact replica of Gauri. He took to me instantly, he even talks to me. I'll tell my son to grab all the opportunities he can, he shouldn't wait for them to come knocking. And when he grows up, I'll flirt with all his girlfriends. That's for sure." - Shahrukh
Now that Aryan is 2, it’s time he had a sister. “Inshallah! I wish we have a daughter too. I’d love to have a girl, but it won’t make a difference if we have another boy. At the time we were expecting Aryan, Gauri wanted a boy and I wanted a girl. We had a boy and I love Aryan more than Gauri does.” - Shahrukh

SUHANA KHAN:-
In her own quiet way, Suhana brought smiles and joy into our house even before she was born.
I stayed in my van for two days outside Breach Candy hospital to be near Gauri when she delivered our second child. I left Aryan at Juhi's house. In between I would get frantic telephone calls on my cell phone about how Aryan was scandalizing the servants and members of Juhi's family by stripping and running buck naked through the house shouting "Look at me! I'm Tarzan!" It's his favourite ploy to get attention, which he needs in a constant and undivided manner. I think he's going to grow up to be an actor.
Initially, I was scared to pick Suhana in my arms. She was so fragile, unlike Aryan. I could toss up Aryan and play rough with him but Suhana was different, she's a lady. Very quiet and loving, but I have a feeling she'll grow up to be very naughty. - Shahrukh
Suhana, unlike Aryan, was quiet from the time she was born. Like all children, Aryan was a little concerned about the new entrant into his family so we tried to avert the sibling rivalry by giving him chocolates and saying they were from Suhana.
Amongst the hundreds of telephone calls I received to congratulate Gauri and myself (and to give us advice on raising children!), I particularly remember one from Anil [Kapoor]. He said, "Are you sitting on the side of God and whispering into His ears what you want? First you get success, and fame and then you get a perfect family too - a boy and a girl." I thought it was very sweet.
Initially, I was scared to pick Suhana in my arms. She was so fragile, unlike Aryan. I could toss up Aryan and play rough with him but Suhana was different, she's a lady. Very quiet and loving, but I have a feeling she'll grow up to be very naughty. One year has passed since she was born. She can barely stand now. And Aryan is learning how to get along with his little sister. We decided to have them share the same room so that they could bond. Gauri makes them eat together too. Of course it's very difficult to get Aryan/ Superman/ Batman/ Spiderman to sit in one place long enough to eat a meal but Suhana is so well behaved. She just smiles quietly at the world. She's very loving, even towards complete strangers.
But of course, Aryan, like all children, hates having to share the spotlight. He's very proud of the fact that Suhana is not allowed to play in the garden (because she's too small and delicate). And if you come home, he'll tell you proudly how Suhana keeps crying, unlike Aryan, who's a big strong man!
So one whole year has passed since she was born. She is growing more beautiful as each day passes. She has wonderful large eyes and an adorable, sweet smile. People say her hair is like mine. People say she's as beautiful as her mother. I think she's taken after an angel.
